I’m considering applying for the permanent residency through the point system. And I heard you need a minimum of 3mil/ year + 0.7mil/year/person if you have a dependent person. I have a wife and am planning to have a child, that would mean a requirement of 4.4mil/ year income, but I am currently at 4.32mil/year income. How would the application fare in such a situation? Also, how would it be counted if the wife comes to Japan after submitting all the applications?
(Just some context, my wife is currently not in Japan and is not my dependent at the moment. She has a job, also I live in Kyoto )
