On tomorrow’s recording of Keepin’ It Strong Style, Karen Peterson will be joining us to review G1 Nights 14-18 and discuss all the latest news. Any questions for the show?
While watching the Taichi-Tama match, I can’t help but think of a major plothole. Why didn’t the Eagles just take Tama straight to the top of the G1? Also, Samwise Gamgee or Jado?
Triple H is now in charge of WWE. Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross, Dexter Lumis, and Hit Row have all made their returns. Are you worried about any of Papa Haitch’s “NXT Babies” over in New Japan making their way back to him? Guys like KUSHIDA and JONAH.
Thoughts on Usyk-Joshua 2? Do you think Joshua will make the proper adjustments in taking the rematch, like he did against Ruiz?
Aaron Henares gym routine
Are you in favor of the 7-way tie chaos in D block or in favor of an outright points-based clear winner? The idea of a 7-way tie sounds fun but if it all comes down to i.e. a battle royal, what was the point of block competition?
Bump
If Taichi and Cody was able to compete in the 2018 G1 Climax, who would’ve you replaced them with and what block would they have been in?
Can we expect the 2017-2019 old and ruthless submission wrestler of Zack Sabre Jr as a full thrown heel after he reverted back to his 2020 G1 tantrum? If Naito is expected to win the G1, we can get the rubber match for the G1 briefcase. Even though he didn’t defeat Naito in the Budokan, he has a claim of defeating Naito in the NJC Final earlier this year.
Since we’re near the end of the G1, could you guys call this four block format an sucess? Following up that question, do you guys think New Japan will go with this format again next year due to either the reception being positive or how much wrestlers they can get next year to come to Japan if the pandemic is still a thing?
So Jeremy, were there any attacks in your wedding? Anyone crash the part? Also, was Young Boy allowed to be the one to host the wedding?
With Juice being at the bottom of his block, lower than Yujiro, did New Japan pull a WWE on Juice? Making promises they weren’t gonna keep? I’ll admit, i’m probably exaggerating but it’s still questionable the booking of Juice in this one.
Should AEW and NJPW co host a Super J Cup? There you’d get another collab show without wasting a Forbidden Door show.
Why hasn’t Tama brought in Haku to deal with Bullet club?
Should New Japan consider a Naito and Sting feud for Shingo? Like for the next set of shows, Shingo isn’t acting like a team player. He begins doing Stinger Splashes, using a skateboard and has facepoint on. Hell, even at one point have him tell the ring announcer to call him a “Dudes with Attitude” member. Naito argues that Sting is poisoning Shingo’s mind and we have a custody for Shingo match at Wrestle Kingdom. What are your thoughts?

Taking the Young Boy’s format, I see how it is.
