Hey everyone,
I’m in the midst of planning a 14-day trip to Japan from 26th October to 9th November and finding accommodations is turning out to be a bigger challenge than anticipated. Almost 88% of hotels in the places we’re planning on going to in Tokyo (specifically Shibuya), Osaka (around Namba station), Fujikawaguchiko, and Kyoto (Higashiyama) seem to be sold out.
Even on hotels I’ve clicked on they have like 1 or 2 rooms left which is ridiculous!
Securing a reasonably priced hotel in these places is proving particularly difficult, and it looks like prices in the other locations have nearly doubled compared to what I’ve seen in posts from 2023.
Has anyone faced similar issues around this time or know why this is the case? Thanks in advance!
