Hello, I’m new to Reddit so please forgive any misdemeanours I commit.
My JET interview is coming up in a bit (Canada), and I’m just wondering if my being half Chinese is something to lean on/mention a lot as a pro for being multi-cultured, or leave out if I can just incase there is any bad sentiments? I know everyone is professional but I just can’t help being nervous. My other half is made up of Czech, Ukrainian, and Polish, but I am definitely more familiar with my Chinese heritage than the others.
So I suppose if I’m asked about my ethnicity should I mention everything but put little emphasis on the Chinese part, or embellish the heck out of that aspect because I know the most about it (comparatively).
Sorry if I rambled. Thank you for your time!
