Is there a NGO that focuses on umbrella recycling? …B/c it’s been a dream idea of mine since ’99

Ever since i first arrived in the early 90’s id always imagined the western concept of “take a penny, leave a penny” (seen at many convenience stores in the U.S.), but instead i start a nonprofit that relplaces the idea of pennies with Japan’s plethora of disposable umbrellas (also, conveniently, sold at convenience stores)… is this finally a thing, or should I finally go all in for some formal incorporation hereee?! 🤔 😜

EDIT – To elaborate:

I’m thinking of a more ubereats, or a scooter rental style technique, for a rampant issue I’ve grown up with over a decade in Japan.

Which is a better way to aquire last-min downpour umbrellas at an even cheaper rate, as long as you show proof of recycling them at your final destination.
-hmm, so perhaps think about subway tickets. It wpuld be the same idea and rate- and easy to photograph… but if you don’t, then u pay the full price of the umbrella. Make sense? I’d be happy to dig deeper this is a ballpark idea.

Also, side note, many of us might be noticing umbrella lockers and mistaking them as shares (which also exist) well cus the set up / look is uncanny.
