So my kid will be born in 8 weeks here in Nagasaki and from what I gather, I cannot apply for Australian Citizenship even as an Australian myself, if my child is born outside of Australia.
Has anyone here gone through a process to successfully acquire duel JP/Aus citizenship? Or is this just not a thing anymore?
I understand that if there is such a process, that it will have to be completed within the 1st 3 months of my daughter’s life.
Any advice/ assistance would be greatly appreciated.
