Howdy. Planing the Ishikawa/Gifu leg of my journey. We’re starting in Kanazawa having come from Osaka. Plan is to then move on to Takayama. However we want to see Shirakawago and my understanding is there’s a stop there in between on the bus *and* they offer luggage storage in Shirakawago bus station.
Does anyone have any experience with taking this bus route and visiting Shirakawago in between? I’m trying to sort out the optimal way to visit Shirakawago without having to double back but also don’t want to wind up stranded somehow.
