Need help
I’m a father of two amazing kids. One is in elementary and the other is in preschool. My elementary schooler is being constantly hit and kicked and screamed at by a fellow student at school and the teacher doesn’t do much. I don’t know what legal options I have. I’ve been trying to find out information online but all I’ve come up with is “because the little ingrate is under a certain age I can’t press charges and the school can’t do anything like move him to a different class because it’s considered “discrimination “ due to a piece of legislation that was written in an overly general way. It’s stressing me out to the point that I’m getting ready to just tell my kid it’s ok to hit back.
Edit: sorry for the lack of info, I also need to add that the kid is on the spectrum which doesn’t change anything in my opinion as far as responsibility on the school and parents’ parts.
