Solo female traveler here who has mostly everything planned out could use advice, specifically around Kyoto and Osaka.
**Day 1 Friday**
* Arrive HND 4:45 AM (hopefully I will have slept on the plane and be FULL OF ADRENALINE)
* Check in to hotel in Akihabara and store luggage
* Senso-ji (7:30am)
* Nakamise-dori 9:30am
* Kirby Cafe 11:30am
* Skytree?
* Ueno Park (then maybe back to hotel if tired or if not continue on to…)
* Akihabara shopping
**Day 2 Saturday**
* Tsukiji Outer Market 7:00am
* Teamlabs Planets 10am
* Odaiba (shopping, wandering, poop museum?) 1:30pm
* Pokemon Center + Cafe 5pm
* Ginza 7pm (High five bar?)
**Day 3 Sunday**
* Check out of Akihabara hotel and go to another hotel in either Shinjuku or Shibuya, not sure where
* Meiji Shrine/Yoyogi Park
* Harajuku/Takeshita Street, Pompompurin cafe
* Cat Street
* Shibuya Crossing/tower records, nintendo store, mega don quijote
* SG Club?
**Day 4 Monday**
* Ghibli Museum (god willing)
* Nakano Broadway
* Omoide Yokocho
* Golden Gai
* NEOShinjuku Atsushi?
**Day 5 Tuesday**
* Sanrio Puroland?
* Sunshine city?
* Unsure how to fill day
**Day 6 Wednesday**
* Commute Tokyo -> Nagano to see Snow Monkeys EARLY AF
* See monkeys
* Commute to Kanazawa and sleep there
**Day 7 Thursday**
* Check out and go to Shirakawago
* See things
* Commute from Shirakawa to Kyoto
**Day 8 Friday**
* Arrive evening
* Explore (will be staying in Gion)
**Day 9 Saturday**
* Bamboo Grove 8am (I was going to get here at 7am but I read that this only takes 10-15 to walk through and Okochi and Tenryu don’t open until 9am so thought maybe 8am was better? Thoughts?)
* From Bamboo go to Okochi Sanso Villa Garden and get tea
* Walk to Gioji Temple then up to Saga Preserved street
* Walk back down to Tenryu
* Lunch at Arashiyama
* Taxi to Ryoan-ji, then Kinkaku
* Nishiki Market
**Day 10 Sunday**
* Fushimi Inari 7am
* Sannenzaka
* Kodai-ji
* Philosophers Path
**Day 11 Monday**
* Nara (in this order) -> Kofuku-ji, Insuien Garden and Neiraku Museum, Todaji, Kasuga, Nara Park, Nakatanidou (not sure how getting reservations for mochi pounding works yet)
**Day 12 Tuesday Osaka Day trips**
* Osaka Castle 9am (this could be moved to second Osaka day?)
* Tennoji (Abeno Harukas, ShinSekai)
* Lunch maybe Kirinji Osaka Sohonten
* Den Den town
* Kuromon
* Dontonbori/Hozenji Yokocho
* Americamura
**Day 13 Wednesday** (this can be done in any order idk, I’m not super invested in any of the below, just need to fill a second day)
* Aquarium
* Umeda Sky
* Tenjinbasuji
* TeamLabs Botanical?
**Day 14**
* Be at HND 5pm
