This is my current situation. I will be back in Japan soon as a student with a fully new visa, after having lived in Japan for less than a year in 2023 (I arrived in Japan at the beginning of January and came back home in autumn 2023). I was a student back then, but I worked part time.
Usually, you are exempted from pension insurance on your first year, and from the second year pension and health insurance is calculated on the basis of your preceding year’s income.
In my case, will 2023 earnings count for my pension/health insurance? Do I need to notify anything to the office?
