I’m a newer wrestling fan. A year ago my buddies at work had to twist my arm to watch the 23 Royal Rumble, before that I had no interest whatsoever in wrestling. Since then I’ve been obsessed. From that first Royal Rumble to Forbidden Door ’23 (my first AEW show) to realizing on January 4th that Wrestle Kingdom was happening and I happened to tune in live and then I fell in love and I feel that Ive found my product here.
I’m also am NFL guy (Ravens fan) but every team I was rooting for this year lost, Ravens, Bills, Lions. I couldn’t care less about this game tonight. So I watched New Beginning and NJPW gave me a real show that I cared about instead.
I mostly wanted to show my appreciation for NJPW but I’m curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.
