Hi, I’m not sure if this is the place for this post but I am supposed to be studying abroad in Japan soon (my flight was scheduled for early next week) but my CESR has not arrived yet and it will take 5 days minimum to get a visa. Not only that but I have until the 29th of March to move in. Does anyone have any advice? I have tried contacting the Japanese university but they keep telling me to just wait and my home university study abroad advisor hasn’t gotten back to me. The Japanese university said it would take 3-8 weeks for the CESR, mine was submitted back on January 25th. I am not sure what to do 🙁 I am having a hard time getting any help. Thank you in advance. Also for reference, I am in the US so when I arrive in Japan it will be an additional day for me (i.e. I fly out on the 24th I and arrive on the 25th)
