Hi all,
I recently got interested in getting an Amazon credit card because of the points campaign and applied for it, but couldn’t get past the instant online transfer stage because my JP Post Bank account didn’t seem to work (I also switched to a resident account recently so I don’t know if it’s just an issue with JP Post in general?)
Rather than go through the lengthy mailing process which I heard can take weeks, I’d rather just cancel my application and either try again when my bank account gets sorted, or find another card to sign up for.
If I do cancel, will it count as a rejection in terms of my credit report? I’ve heard that I’d have to wait 6 months to try again for another card, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Off-topic, has anyone else had absolutely HORRENDOUS luck trying to get the SMBC app to take a decent picture of their residence card when making an account? It’s driving me INSANE
