Tokyo itinerary (First time solo travelling)

Hey there, im (24yo M) and will be travelling first time ever alone and i speak 0 Japanese beside saying few basic words such as (thank you, hello, etc.), i will be in Tokyo from 16th to 24th April and im trying to make “itinerary” but very loosely so i know which part of Tokyo to go each day, i like to take my time seightseeing anything without rushing things.

Keep in mind for questions that my hotel is located few hundred meters from Asakusabashi Station which is (1km walk at most) from Akihabara station/Sensō-ji and few other sightseeings.

Few questions:

1. I would love some suggestions for places that are fun going to alone and must visit (try to fill in itinerary or swap things from day to day) and which ones i missed out and are must see? (again im open to anything even themed stuff but im not specific fan of xy thing)
2. I did not plan any restaurants and would like some suggestions regarding that too (not too pricey) and im very down to try all the new things such as conveyor belt sushi and food we dont really have in my country.
3. Towards evenings/nightlife suggestions (worth going to clubs and stuff in Shinjuku or Shibuya as solo traveller and trying to meet people or not really) or should i just stick to going for walks or finding izakayas in my are which i heard is very cool experience for solo people and drinking few beers?
4. Let me know if any of places i choose are “less” of an experience visiting alone, thats why i choose to just explore a lot and walk around maybe talk to people and try to find random Japanese friends?
5. I see on google a lot of things dont need special reservations early beside on my list (teamlabs, skytree and getting early the for capybara cafe) or?

  1. Take a full loop on the Yamanote Line(~1h) to get an overview of the city. Don’t think in one part of the city per day, you can travel very fast in and around the city. Check out multiple parts a day and come back if you like it.

The Imperial Palace doesn’t has much to explore. Same with Ginza, unless you want to buy some Gucci or such.

    Nakano Broadway is great.

Check out the“space boat” from Asakusa to Odaiba(Gundam) and take the Monorail back or walk along the Rainbow Bridge.

  2. Embrace solo travel 🙂 I’m 39 F and I have since stopped traveling with people since 2018. You’re young and going to a new and incredibly interesting country, you are bound to have fun along the way. Try the Meetup app if you want to meet other travelers or locals. It’s a great tool for solo travel. GLHF!
