Anki or JPDB for a intermediate learner?

Recently neglected about 4 months of anki and decided to switch JPDB two weeks ago to start fresh. Is this even worth it? I already has optimized FSRS in anki and a seamless workflow on it. And all my progress is on Anki already.

JPDB has been fun but I’m barely learning vocabulary on it and it’s a lot of pressing ” I won’t forget this word”.

A core issue I have with my learning is remembering kanji. I’ve seen 指揮官 probably thousands of times but I just can’t remember it. So I was thinking JPDB can help me solve this issue. But at the same time with seeing it in immersion can also help me.

Thoughts? I’m not sure on what I should do. I’m honestly okay with grinding the anki backlog if I have too.
