Reviewing basic tenses.
Would this be correct interpretations?
映画館に行く。I will go to the cinema, in the future.
映画館に行っている。I am going to the cinema right at this moment. I am on my way to the cinema. (The act of walking is in motion)
映画館に行った。I went to the cinema somewhen in the past but I am not there anymore.
映画館に行っていた。I went to the cinema (the act of walking is over) but I currently am still at the cinema.
