Applying for PR, missed 5 years of tax

EDIT:
I need to point out that during the past 5 years, I was a graduate student who was receiving 50,000 yen/month (total income about $6000/year or 0.6 million yen per year). I actually assumed I didn’t have to pay any taxes on this amount..?

If I’m applying for PR through the 1 year route, do I have to show 1 year of tax or 5 years?

I just found out I missed the last 5 years of tax, yikes. If I pay it back all now (is this even possible?), can I apply for PR down the road? If so, do I have to wait another 5 years?
