I have recently been looking into potentially uprooting my life in New Zealand to try experience something completely new and potentially studying in Japan, But I am curious what peoples experiences were like in regards to living expenses, support from the government (Allowances, student housing, etc.) and part time job searching and experiences (non-fluent vs. fluent).
I am a qualified industrial electrician with a Japanese partner and I am soon to be sitting the JLPT N5 exam.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated 🙂
