I am taking my first trip to Japan at the end of this month (March) and just booked my shinkansin ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto.
First of all, I just want to make sure I didn’t have to reserve the station itself right? I can use my shinkansin ticket from any Tokyo station? I don’t recall picking one.
Secondly, how long would you suggest I give myself to walk (11 min walk from my hotel), get my ekiben, scan my qr code, get my ticket, and find my platform? It leaves at 10:03am.
