Itinerary Check: 11 Days in Japan (Tokyo to Tohoku Region to Sapporo)

Hello!

I plan to go to Japan next month (April 21 to May 2). Below is a general breakdown of my Tohoku trip since I would like comments/suggestions on whether this is viable.

Since I do not have an international license, I cannot rent a car, and I’m only commuting or using trains and buses to go around the area. Is it worth buying **two 5-day JR East Passes** *or* **one 5-day JR East and one 5-day Tohoku-Hokkaido JR Pass** for this 10-day trip? Again, I’ll be mainly using buses and trains for this trip.

*Note:* These trips start as early as possible to get to the place as early as possible (usually, around 6 AM, I’ll be leaving to arrive at opening hours for most attractions).
