1. This match made me a fan of Njpw.

2. I remember this like it was yesterday. Gedo genuinely strapped a rocket to this guy’s back, having only just been promoted from the Jr. Heavy division.

   He was also the very first non-Japanese performer to win the tournament.

5. I remember watching his first match in the tournament against YOSHI-HASHI and thinking “probably not gonna happen, wouldn’t it be cool if he won the whole thing?” Then Kenny underestimated YOSHI-HASHI and lost the match, which made his tournament victory even more impactful.
