What do you guys eat when on a budget?

I have been living in tokyo for a while and sometimes I treat myself to ramen, tonkatsu and things like that. However its not really sustainable to be spending 3000 yen for 3 meals a day this way.

I found a supermarket which reduces everything by like 20-40% towards the end of the day and its food is ok but honestly I am kinda sick of it.

There is only so many breads filled with meat you can eat, and only so much soy sauce you can eat before you start getting bored of it.

I also feel really unhealthy eating this kinda food. It feels like I should be eating veggies more.

When I was in the UK I would drink huel which is a meal replacement thing and honestly that felt like a really healthy choice.

Does anyone have any recommendations or maybe even places to buy huel or meal replacements?

Thanks
