I am learning through reading children stories and i came across these sentences:
雪の上で休んでいるツルを見つけました。
変な音はツルが鳴いた声だったのです。
I found it really weird that a language that heavily relies on particles to use a adjective(?) system like this. How does 雪の上で休んでいる directly defines ツル? shouldnt there be an adjective particle or sorts inbetween?
This happens in the second sentence as ツルが鳴いた声.
