Is this a good job offer?

So, I just got an email from one of the companies that I applied to and had a couple of interviews. They’re making me a job offer; since this is my first time moving to Japan and working there, I’d like a frame of reference of whether or not I’m getting a good deal:

– Salary wise is within my expectations, if not a bit better
– Monthy wage DOES NOT include any overtime pay, if needed that would be paid separately
– They are offering me a 1 bedroom flat that would be paid 50% by them, and 50% by me. This would last at least during the typical 3 month probation period, they don’t specify if I have to move out by then or if I can keep living there (it’s one of the questions I have to ask them)
– Bonus paid in July and January
– 25,000 yen per month for transportation fees
– Company insurance, no clue what could this entail though
– Moving expenses need to be covered by myself
– I’d be working in Osaka, which is a big plus for me, I’ve been there and I loved it, I heard it’s a foreign friendly city as well, and cheaper than Tokyo
– They mentioned that after the probatory period, I’d be a “1 year contract employee” not really sure what they mean by this, since during the interviews I was told this is meant to be a rather long term position (definitely something I’ll ask them before agreeing to anything)
– This probably goes without saying, but they mentioned they’re ready to sponsor my visa
– No starting date as of now, they’re willing to wait for as much as needed, based on what they mentioned during the interviews

Is this decent? Are there any outstanding questions I should also ask?

To be honest I wasn’t expecting to land a job this quickly (I just stated job hunting mid February, and being very picky with the companies I applied to, or that tried to approach me), so this kind of catches me off guard, but it’s also kind of perfect timing, since my current company is on the red and probably are going to fire me sooner or later anyway.

What do you guys think?
