Hotel Management in Japan?

Hi!

So as a background, I am a 22 year old student studying International Travel and Tourism Management at a BA level (currently about to finish my second year).

I have a passion for hotel management and would like to pursue this as a career! I currently have ~6 months experience at low level in F&B in a hotel chain here in the UK.

I am wondering if foreigners are likely to get jobs in 5* Luxury Hotels as a manager within Japan (obviously doesn’t have to be Tokyo).

I am aware I will need at least N1 Japanese with a strong understanding of business Japanese… I currently have a tutor who is giving me private 1-to-1 sessions every week to teach me Japanese while I am using an app (Busuu) to learn regularly.

TL;DR
I am a student studying Travel and Tourism Management with a passion for Hotel Management. I currently have a job as a low-level at a hotel chain here in the UK. I also have a private tutor teaching me Japanese 1-to-1 once a week. Is it plausible to think if I continue this for… 3-5 years while hopefully moving up in roles I can move to Japan?

Thanks for any input!
