I’ve recently booked an Airbnb which had been in a deplorable state, I’m talking with Airbnb support and they don’t want to provide me with a refund. Im planning to bring this up to my credit card company to do a charge back but I’m a little bit lost as this is a Japanese credit card. (Rakuten Credit Card).
Also, is there any place where we can report this to the government? I know back home we have a government department to protect consumers but I’m not sure what’s the equivalent in Japan.
I took pictures and videos of the state of the Airbnb so I’m not sure if that will help with a local report.
Would anyone be able to share their experiences?
