Hello,
I’m going to be in Japan for the first time and I happen to be going during sakura season. I’ll be in Osaka, so I decided I was going to Mt. Yoshino to check them out. I was even able to land tickets for the Blue Symphony train for Monday 4/8 (which was a huge pain).
I’ve been paying attention to the bloom schedule, and it seems peak bloom continues to move earlier. Right now it is estimated for 4/5 at Yoshino. My understanding is that the blossoms fall fairly quickly after peak bloom, so my question is: at what point is it no longer worth it to take a day out of my trip to see the blossoms at Yoshino?
