Low-key/Underrated suggestions in Northern Kyushu for a geeky couple

Hi everyone, I’m currently planning a 7-day trip in June (2nd week) with my husband to Fukuoka + Northern Kyushu. We’re both designers who enjoy video games, music, art, and **while we’re going to go to most of the more popular tourist spots**, we also want to explore if there are **more ‘artsy/geeky’ spots we could check out.** *(i.e. Nice coffee/tea shops, bookstores, musems/galleries, manga/anime)* P.S. I understand a lot of these are more centered in the Tokyo area, but we’ve been there a couple of times so we want to explore 🙂

Budget: No specific budget limit
Places I’ve looked into so far that we’re interested in:

* Pokemon Center Hakata
* Aruaru City + Kitakyushu Manga Museum
* Huis Ten Bosch, Bookoff super bazaar in Nagasaki
* Coffee Gallery in Kumamoto
* Yufuin Floral Village
* Kariomon’s Coffee Shop (Nagasaki)
For the range, ideally the cities reachable with the North Kyushu JR Rail pass–some in mind are Hakata, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Beppu–but also open to others!
