Kyoto 2.5 days itinerary check plus 2 day trips for cherry blossom season

Hi all, looking for some feedback on our Kyoto itinerary for 2 weeks from now during sakura season. Current forecasts put us there during peak bloom so it should be great 🙂

Day 1:

* Arriving from Tokyo, check-in to hotel, train/bus to Higashiyama. Starting our day around 12pm
* Higashiyama (Yasaka Pagoda and famous street, lunch, Sannenzaka Path, Kiyomizu-Dera)
* Gion (Yasaka-Jinja Shrine, Maruyama Park illuminated cherry blossoms, Hanamikoji St, Shirakawa Lane, Dinner)

Day 2:

* Ginkaku-ji
* Philosopher’s Path
* Keage Incline
* Lunch
* Heian Jingu Shrine
* Fushimi Inari Shrine (Not hiking all the way up, just taking in the vibes during daylight and after sunset. Should get there like around 5-5:30pm
* Kiyamachi and Pontocho Alley walk/dinner

Day 3:

* Kinkaku-ji
* Arashiyama (Tenryu-ji, Bamboo Grove, Okochi Sanso Villa, Lunch, Togetsukyo Bridge, Kimono Forest at Arashiyama Station)
* Maybe can take the Sagano scenic train at 5:10pm (last of the day), not sure if it’s worth it. Also couldn’t find the time for the river cruise as it’s around 2 hours.
* Rest up at the hotel before dinner and just aimlessly walking around

Day 4 and 5:

* Day trips (Currently planning Osaka and Nara, considering others like Mt. Yoshino or Himeji Castle)

Day 6:

* Leaving to Ryokan near Komatsu, might check out Nishiki Market for breakfast before going to the train
