Sometimes around 6pm when I go into Matsuya, there will be this generic English language music playing. Usually pop vibes, like Taylor Swift adjacent. It sounds like it’s sung by Japanese people who speak English (as they sometimes has a slight accent) But I never know any of the songs.
Does anyone know the source of this type of music? English music sung by Japanese artists for commercial use?
