And I don’t mean 1st grade level kanji sheets for English speaking adults, I mean 1st grade kanji worksheets that would be passed out in a real classroom, cheesy pictures and all.

I’m nostalgic for the types of work I would do in early grade school, but of course when perusing childhood worksheets, they’re mindlessly simple as an adult. I’m at the point in my Japanese language learning that I have a rare opportunity to work through this style of worksheet again and actually get something out of it!

I loved learning to read as a kid, and I get the same giddy feeling learning to read Japanese. Does anyone else feel this way?
