I want to learn Nihonga and am trying to find somewhere to do it. I’m a professional oil painter and want to learn this technique to incorporate into my work. Does anyone know any schools or facilities that offer workshops to learn this, like something that would take place over a few weeks or months?
In Italy there are many private art schools teaching classical drawing and painting. I wondered if there is a similar thing in Japan.
I am not seeking a degree of any kind, just professional development. Instruction in Japanese is ok. Would appreciate any info if someone knows!
