Did anyone buy a ticket for Haruka from KIX to Kyoto through agents like Klook before? Some questions…

I believe that the ticket for JR Haruka Airport Express brought from Klook (or some similar services like Trip. com) is a “discounted” non-reserved seat ticket. So, I’d to ask if the train is normally crowded or not?

Also, my visa is not a temporary visitor, as I am a student. So, is it okay for me to use this ticket? How can I get the ticket? Thanks

  1. Ive always just bought it on the train in addition to the ic card. Never had any issues or the staff tell that this is a problem.

  2. Just did this a week ago. No need to use Klook. Just book through the official a few days or so before you arrive. Pick the ticket up when you get there from the ticket counters.

  3. Buy through official channels only. Is it crowded in non-reserved? Depends on time of day. To be safe, I did go with a reserved seat as it didn’t cost me much more and that was quiet.
