Is buying shoes on Shein worth it?

I wanted to buys shoes but I am confused whether I should buy Nike shoes worth 8-9k or shoes on shein in 3-4k range. Shoes on shein have really really crazy designs but I am fearful that the colors will fade off super hard and the I will regret wasting my money on non branded items. Please help if you have any experience of shopping on shein

Thanks guys for sharing. I will buy the Nike ones then

  1. i dont have experience buying from shein but i would advise against buying from fast fashion if you can, and shein is really the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality.

That would be the least of my worries when buying shoes. I would be more worried about the lack of support and cushioning. Especially if you walk a lot.

Any kind of shoes with the wrong support (both below the arch/foot and around the ankle) could create some pain on the foot and the knee area. Depending on your pronation, you may need more or less support.

  3. Fast fashion will always be absolute crap. Save up and buy really nice items from trusted brands and they’ll last a long time. Shein also has BEDBUGS in their warehouses. That will cost you ¥¥¥ if they track in on a shitty pair of shoes.

  4. save and buy higher quality shoes always, it’s the one thing that’s between you and the ground. also fast fashion has a myriad of ethical/environmental issues if you care about that too

  5. I’ve never bought. But my gf did and what arrived was very low quality trash. Never again.
As a side note, I found [this shop](https://maps.app.goo.gl/1tXcDixZ27wc9vxC6?g_st=ic) while strolling the area once, they have nice shoes with good prices, some made in Japan. This area of Asakusa and north of this place has multiple shoe factories, if you stroll around you might find something you like with a factory price.

  6. Shein is shit. If you need throwaway shoes because you’re going to be trekking through mud, then by all means buy it. But if it’s something you want to keep for a while don’t even bother.

  7. Shein is never worth it.
With shoes you really need to try it on or at least be able to inspect the construction.

Are you looking to buy regular shoes or some street wear/unique type ones?

  8. Shein, Temu, and all those fast-fashions are TRASH. You get what you pay for in this case. And depending on what you’re going for (walking, running, etc.), buy brands that are known for their quality. Especially with shoes, which we wear all the time going out, bad shoes can cause a lot of long-term joint problems and posture changes. Things like foam wearing out and being imbalanced over time can really fuck up your knees and back.

  9. My wife buys sooo much stuff on Shein, and she’s almost always been super happy with the purchases. Most of it is cheap dance clothes/shoes/accessories etc for one of our kids, so it’s not like she’s looking for super high-quality stuff…

  10. Shein shoes has two problems – size inconsistency and poor quality of range about 35%. Mostly is the size problem. I have 2/10 times of guess…

  11. I bought quite a lot of clothes from shein. It was okay, some are quite over expected tbh. I bought shoes once, not too good not too bad. but normally I don’t like buying shoes online. Need to try them on to see if they are really comfy or not.

  12. I usually buy shoes (ladies shoes, not sneakers, though) from shein and they last me a season or two. I walk a lot and even expensive ones get worn out fast, so it doesn’t change much for me.

  13. I’ve had mixed experiences (albeit limited), but if you’re trying to save on buying something you like by going cheap, I’d recommend against it. Just save up a bit more and get the ones you want.
