Hello! I am going to Japan at the beginning of April and would love some advice on whether I am doing too much or if there are really fun activities I am missing.
It is my wife’s and my honeymoon, so I’d love to make it as great as possible.
I am also unsure how the JR Pass works for trains if I should get it, and if I am too late. The site makes it seem like they would physically mail me something, but that feels wrong.
We have our six hotels (one being a Ryokan) booked with us, and we plan to arrive early in the evening in each new city.

Walking around Shinjuku or other local cities and hitting up an arcade is generally an easy day to adjust to time.
