Hi. I’m currently in my third year of highschool, and I want to move to Japan someday. I’m a Nisei, and my mother is a Japanese national (She immigrated from Japan to the US). I can speak Japanese quite well (Never took any JLPT tests), and I can write Japanese. My reading isn’t that great. I also have a lot of relatives in Japan and I’m pretty familiar with the area around my mother’s hometown.
So I’ve been thinking that I could either go to university in Japan, which is my lesser consideration, or I could go to college in the states and get my degree and find a job or do JET or any work for a while. Any tips, advice, ideas, etc would be appreciated!!
