This will be my third time to japan, this time focusing on seeing the sakura season. I’m especially looking forward to seeing them illuminated at night. I am planning to see Kyoto, Osaka and Kanazawa
Open questions:
1. Do my dates make sense, or should I change anything? I saw that the full-bloom in Kyoto should be on the 30th, and for Osaka the 2nd, so should I delay everything for one day to see more of the sakura?
2. Is taking the Sagano Romantic Train and the Hozugawa River Boat Ride back any more interesting during sakura than in the fall? If so, I would pack it in somewhere.
3. Any more must-dos for sakura? I think I have spare time in each location, so I’m open to suggestions.

* Find slice of Rikuro’s (Can I even get a single slice of fresh cake? Or do I have to buy an entire one?

* Spend evening in Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi-Suji
