Suggestions for last minute accommodations

Honestly, I’ve messed up, and I keep messing up because I don’t reach out for help when I need it. I’m scheduled to move out of my current share house at the end of this month 31st, and I began searching for another one with a better commute and people to practice Japanese with last month. Unfortunately, my current housemates are all Europeans who don’t speak Japanese and aren’t really social. I had planned to do a homestay for a month in April while continuing my search, but they canceled on me, leaving me hanging for the past three weeks.

Recently, I was out with an acquaintance and his wife, only to discover that this man is an abuser. He had no issue berating his wife in public, which triggered severe PTSD in me from witnessing my mother’s abuse by my father, ultimately leading to her death. Needless to say, I shut down for a few weeks, just going to school, eating, and sleeping.

For the past five days, I’ve been awake, relentlessly emailing and contacting share houses on Line, searching for short-term accommodations that fit my commute. However, I haven’t found anything solid yet. My last resort will be to stash my belongings in a trunk room this week and head to the Sakura House office, prepared to shell out 100k for an 8-person dorm if necessary. I had really been looking forward to spending time with a kind family and helping them out, hoping to overcome my family’s issues, but maybe I was being too idealistic.

I’m open to any options I may have overlooked. I’ve scoured nearly every major share house site and scraped Craigslist. At this point, I’d settle for anything in the Kanto region. However, being on a student visa and facing the prospect of lengthy commutes with a 30k commuter pass makes getting locked into a place feel like hell while trying to bounce back.
