With the new japan cup over. Looking back at this tournament outside of a couple of matches the tournament suffered for me in terms of the quality.
Most of it was just unwatchable and having H.O.T being involved in so many matches didn’t help either. I understand why they did it with the payoff of tsuji winning. However it still doesn’t take away that the match quality in the tournament diminished.
