Hi.
I finished my ALT contract March 22nd, and am planning to stay in Japan until May 5th.
Is it possible for me to switch from a working visa, to a tourist visa during this time so that I do not have to pay pension/health insurance?
If it is possible, what are the procedures for doing this?
More information: I am a U.S. citizen and live in Hyogo
