I run a company in Japan and want to sponsor my younger brother (who is here with a work holiday visa from Canada) for a change of residence status so he can keep working under me. He’s been working as a part timer. But the company is being run in a SOHO apartment which is an apartment that allows both business and private living. And he also happens to live in that SOHO apartment with me.
Is it weird if he presents a document to immigration where the company’s address and personal address is the same. I am not just sponsoring him just so he can be in Japan. I actually need him to work under me.
if it’s weird, we are thinking of renting a sharehouse temporarily. But he only has like 3 weeks left on his visa and tbh i didn’t know it was going to be this hard to find a sharehouse available in short time that will rent to someone with just 3 weeks, that also has a room available beyond that 3 weeks so he can get the postcard
