10 hour days isnt going to solve the problem
4 days a week, 8 hours a day, 20 percent pay raise across the board.
4 days a week….24 hour workday….
Japan’s economy is in contraction, and is being pounded by currency deflation on top of this. To accommodate this, hours and zangyou will increase, not decrease. Increasingly, Japan is an EM masquerading as a DM.
if they don’t offer the same pay for the reduced hours then what is the point. 10 hour days are equally as bad. the 4 day work week is supposed to give you more of your life back, not further exploit your time.
Japan never look at the core of the problem and just patches things up to save face, hence how they wasted at least 30 years of development.
