Hi everyone, I am planning a trip to Kyushu in August. I want to ask if it’s worth stopping to visit Mount Aso, even though there is a closure 1km from the crater. We intend to stop there on our way from Kumamoto to Oita/Beppu. We begin our trip in Kagoshima and I am not sure which option to choose:
a) Kagoshima – Kumamoto – Aso – Oita/Beppu – Fukuoka
b) Kagoshima – Kumamoto – Nagasaki – Fukuoka
