Hello /r/japan
I looked for a more recent post about this topic but I could not find anything to Snyder my question.
I’m going to Japan in mid June with my wife, and a very well traveled friend of mine suggested that I convert some spending $$$ from US to yen ahead of time. Since the banks raised the interest rates this week I’m wondering if that is a good idea, or if I have already missed out.
Any insight would be valuable! I’m estimating we will probably spend at least $2000 while we are there on food, drinks and Souveniers. Maybe more if I find some allocated whiskeys that I can’t find in the U.S.
