I’m somewhat new to the NJPW scene but I love everything about it so far. I came across this finisher and thought it was simply amazing (and looked really vicious):
I did a bit of reading and found out that Kobashi only used this move a total of 7 times. Does anyone know why? Was it banned for being too dangerous? I don’t see what other reason it could be given the crowd/announcer reactions in that clip alone. I would’ve thought Kobashi would’ve wanted to use this move to end his matches as often as possible
