I am a foreigner residing outside of Japan. If I would like to buy new condo (currently still underdevelopment) in Japan, I suppose I need to find a real estate agent to help me with that. What is generally the commission rate for such service? Is it the same as the commission paid for purchasing second hand condos? In my case, I am the one who identifies the new condo that I am interested in acquiring and the agent would be mainly helping me with the paperwork and dealing with the condo developer.
