2 Weeks Itinerary

Hi. I’m flying in to Osaka on 11 April and would like to have your opinions on my the itinerary that I’ve formulated thus far. Appreciate any opinion for that matter:

11 April – Fly in to Itami Intl Airport at 7pm. Head to JR Osaka to exchange Amazing Osaka Pass (I’m waiting on details on new pass as the current version is expiring 31/3). Then check in hotel, leave my lugagge and head to a Houzenji Yokocho for dinner.

12 Apr – Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel early morning then head to Tempozan market for breakfast. Probably drop by Glion Museum and Santa Maria Cruise. Later in the afternoon, head back to Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi. [This day is subject to change depending on the new Amazing Osaka Pass].

13 April- arrive at Osaka Castle by 7am. Do a 5km run around Osaka Castle. Freshen up at Running Base Osaka then head into Osaka Castle for sightseeing. Plan to take the Gozabune before head out to Umeda for lunch. After lunch, drop by Nintendo Store in Umeda and LUCUA before heading to Umeda Sky Building. After sunset, will be having a drink in Tenma.

14 Apr – Have breakfast nearby the hotel and head to Akiba Kart by 11.30am. After the karting experience, head to Kuromon market for lunch. Then head to Nipponbashi Denden Town and Animate before heading to Tsutenkaku. After visiting Tsutenkaku, head to Shinsekai for dinner.

15 April- catch and early train to Himeji Castle and Koko-en. After lunch head to Engyoji and take a train to Kobe.

16 April- start the day at Kitano Ijinkan and Ikuta Jinja. Then head to Kobe Maritime Museum. After lunch, visit several sake breweries including Hakutsuru and Kiku-Masume. Then head back to Kobe Chinatown for dinner before finishing the day at Harbourland.

17 April- catch an early train to Arima Onsen. Visit Toy Museum and walk around the old street in Arima Onsen. Enjoy onsen at Kin no Yu and have a drink at Sake Ichiba before taking a bus to Kyoto.

18 April- Start the day in Gionmachi, walk up to Kiyomizudera and head to Yasaka Jinja afterwards. Have lunch in Honke Owariya before walking to a small rabbit shrine a distance away. Have dinner at Gion Duck Noodle and take a walk in Gion before heading back to the hotel.

19 April- take a train to Amanohashidate for sightseeing. Head to Amanohashidate Kasamatsu Park for scenery. Then take a train to Ine Fishing Village. Chill at a cafe for a bit before head back to Kyoto for dinner.

20 Apr- do a morning run in Kyoto Imperial Garden. Then head back to the hotel for quick shower before heading to Uji for a day trip. To visit Ujikami Shrine and enjoy uji matcha desserts!

21 Apr- Morning run in Kyoto Imperial Garden. Then head back to the hotel for a shower before heading to Toji Temple for its flea market. Then head to Nishiki market for lunch and then to Samurai Museum. Thereafter, visit the manga museum and boar shrine before heading out for dinner.

22 April- strt the day with a hike in Fushimi Inari, then head to Gekkeikan Sake Museum afterwards. After lunch, continue the sake museum hop in Fushimi Sake Village before heading to Otesuji Shopping Street.

23Apr- start the day with a jog near Nijojo Castle. Then head to Arashiyama and take the Sagano
scenic Train. Have lunch in Aramashiyama after the ride and Visit the arashiyama bamboo forest and Tenryuji. Head to Togetsukyo Bridge and Monkey Park and ward off the fatigue at Tenzan no Yu.

24 April- head to Nara Park and Todaiji. Have lunch in Mochiidono Shopping St and visit the sake brewery in Nara. Then head to Higashimuki Shopping Street before going back to Osaka.

25 Apr- head to Wakayama station and take the Tama Train! Have lunch at Tama cafe and head back to Kuroshio Market. Then head back to Osaka shinsaibashi st to do some last minute shopping.

26 Apr- do an early run in Osaka Castle, then visit Pokemon Cafe and do some last min souvenir shopping before heading to cup museum in Ikeda. Thereafter, head to Itami Airport for evening flight back home.
