Hello!
My partner and I will be travelling Kyushu in a few weeks in April. We will have a car. Our itinerary so far is:

Day 1: Fly in Fukuoka 3pm, pick up car and drive down to Nagasaki for a night and go to Mt. Inasayama Observatory for city night views. Stay in Nagasaki for 1 night.
Day 2: Check out. See the peace park and drive to Kurokawa onsen. Spend the day and night here.
Day 3: Mount Aso & Takachiho Gorge. Stay nearby for 2 nights.
Day 4: Any suggestions?? Or recommended hikes? We love waterfalls.
Day 5: Check out early and head to Yufuin/Beppu. Possibly do the ropeway and Takasakiyama. Stay at a ryokan for a night.
Day 6&7: Head to Fukuoka and see the Kawachi Wisteria Garden on the way. Return car in Fukuoka. Stay in Tenjin for 2 nights.
Day 8: Fly out in the morning

What are your thoughts? Is this too rushed? If you have any recommendations or must-see/visits, we’d greatly appreciate it! We love nature and not too fussed about tourist attractions.
