In 2017, while in Japan, a friend asked my husband and me to join him for a „Best of Super Jr.s“ show at Korakuen Hall. We were not really into wrestling back then (I watched wrestling as a kid in the early 90s and completely stopped until 2021, only „dipping my toes“ back in a little with the first season of Lucha Underground) but had a blast. Looking back at the card now, it’s crazy who we saw at the time.
Now, back in Japan again, we got tickets for „Road to Sakura Genesis“ on April, 3rd, flying back the next day. We now watch kinda regularly and are super stoked. Seeing the card today only heightened our excitement. We also got pretty decent tickets (Block B).
