Hi there! I broke up with my girlfriend a few months ago and was looking into getting back into the dating game. The thing is Bumble is super barren and Tinder here doesn’t filter the straight girls out when searching for women and wastes a lot of time. Are there any other dating apps that are used here that are any better for lesbian women? I know gay men have qmonster or something like that.

I’m not trying to date while in Japan, so I haven’t looked into apps, but I did see a list of lesbian bars recently. Let me know if you’d like a link and I can see if I can find it again.
Most dating apps have you fill out your interest when you start like:
I’m (Male/Female).
I’m interested in (Male/Female).
So just use bumble or whatever I think.
Maybe you can give a shot to Her and Lex
Are you outside of a major city? The woman I’ve dated here (also a woman) have all been through Bumble and I’m inaka adjacent lol. I think Bumble changed their algorithm or something so that you “run out” of swipes but then there’s magically new people in a few days
Also, casting a bit of a wider net distance wise might help if your area has good public transpo
There’s also the app Her which is for women. It’s the only app that I’ve never re-downloaded after deleting though because it was pretty bad (when I had it a few years ago)
